Debt bondage in Afghanistan ensnares whole families, including young children, in backbreaking labor. This film, courtesy of The New York Times introduces the Mohammed family, whose father and several sons labor at a brick kiln to repay a debt. “This is slavery,” says the eighteen-year-old Omar.
